How to Play "Bedtime Hero"

Welcome to the whimsical and eerie world of "Bedtime Hero." You are the child's trusted toy robot, on a mission to reach the child's most cherished pacifier in each dream level. To navigate this surreal dream world, you'll need to master a few key controls:

Objective: Find the Rotating Pacifier to end the level.

1. Grappling Hands:

Left Mouse Click (or the leftmost button on your gamepad) activates the left hand grapple. Use it to interact with levers, buttons, and other mechanisms to manipulate the dream environment.

Right Mouse Click (or the rightmost button on your gamepad) launches the right hand grapple. This allows you to pull yourself toward wooden pillars and other objects, helping you traverse the dreamscapes.

2. Jump:

Press the Spacebar to make your toy robot jump. You'll need to leap over obstacles and reach higher platforms to progress through the dream levels.

3. Horizontal Movement:

Use the WASD keys (W for forward, A for left, S for backward, and D for right) to move your toy robot horizontally through the dream world. Explore, navigate, and solve puzzles by moving around.

4. Pause the Game:

If you need a moment to catch your breath or make adjustments, press the Escape key to pause the game. This will allow you to take a break and access game options.

5. Full Screen Mode:

"Bedtime Hero" is best experienced in full-screen mode. To activate full-screen mode, please click the full-screen button located in your browser's interface.

Now that you're familiar with the controls, you're ready to embark on this captivating adventure. Uncover the mysteries of the child's dreams, outsmart the lurking menace under the bed, and make your way to the child's beloved pacifier at the end of each nightmarish level.

Game Description

"Bedtime Hero" plunges you into the eerie, dreamy realm of a child's sleep. You take on the role of an endearing toy robot, the child's most beloved plaything, tasked with braving a nightmarish dreamscape filled with spine-tingling challenges and hidden enigmas. Armed with extendable arms for grappling onto surfaces and objects, you'll swing, leap, and climb your way through these surreal dreamscapes, where the line between the real and the surreal blurs.

Your ultimate quest? To reach the child's most cherished pacifier, an object of comfort and security, located at the end of each harrowing level. But beware, for lurking beneath the bed, a malevolent presence with massive, intricate tentacles awaits the perfect moment to strike. Your keen ears must heed the unsettling audio cues, and your watchful eyes must detect the ominous shadows, all while you race to the safety of the toybox.

"Bedtime Hero" captures the eerie ambiance of a child's darkest dreams, offering a captivating blend of platforming, puzzle-solving, and exploration in this surreal, spine-tingling adventure. Known bugs:

- Mouse disappears after completing the level and you get stuck in the main menu. Refresh browser

- Falling down has some places that normally would allow you to walk up, but it is likely you get stuck (top of tilted pillars). There is another way up though!

- Hit boxes of levers need tweaking. Try again with some slight offset if it seems you dont activate the lever (using the left hand grapple).

- Plenty of glitches and unfinished ideas :)
